It's a pretty good noteworthy article.
Personally, I think the whole paradigm of advertising is flawed, but that's a sociological and philosophical point rather than technological.

Yeh this was in the news recently. I once got linked to their site and was denied access because I had ad blocking in place. I decided I would rather not connect. At the time I didn't know about the issues but chuckled a bit when it started appearing in the news shortly afterwards.
